Los Del Titicaca
My friend Mike Atkins is mad genius. As an editor for Chiang Mai Citylife, he's responsible for thinking up weird things to do and write about them and I was lucky enough to be invited on this journey into the depths of artistic heck: We performed Spanish-ish versions of popular songs with only conga and castinets, mike howling in faux-Spanish and sweating like a criminal. See for yourself. Twas a lot of fun. The band broke up immediately thereafter but if someone offered us some serious cash (more than the two bucks we earned the first time) I'm sure we'd be cajoled into a reunion.
